Community Highlights: Meet Mauri Roberts

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mauri Roberts. Her and her team team share their story with us below:

The Bradburn Village neighborhood and Westminster hold a dear place in the owners’ hearts. Mauri Roberts, a lifelong Westminster resident, married her high school sweetheart Randy and soon began their lives together with their first home in Bradburn Village. Living less than a block away from the building during its initial construction and early operation, the Roberts were impressed and intrigued by the building’s design and potential.

The Roberts moved away from Bradburn Village in 2013, relocating to Westminster to raise their three children. In the years to come, Mauri’s journey always seemed to lead her back to Bradburn. Attending important events, teaching group fitness classes nearby, and engaging with friends from the old neighborhood, the venue was ever-present in Mauri’s life. Recently, Robert’s journey came full circle when they were presented with the opportunity to own and operate the beautiful venue, a facility that played a substantial role in their story. The Roberts took ownership in 2020, renovated the interior space, and Mauri now acts as Venue Director. The Roberts is excited to host weddings, corporate events, nonprofit fundraisers, and much more within The Establishment at Bradburn Village.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Taking ownership in 2020 and re-opening the venue amidst the worldwide pandemic brought considerable challenges. Mauri and her team now feel confident in the extensive flexibility their venue offers. From single room, and hourly rentals, to full venue buyouts, their team is eager to meet the corporate, nonprofit, and social needs of all clients in Westminster and surrounding areas.

The Establishment at Bradburn Village is a locally owned and operated special events venue located in the heart of the Bradburn Village neighborhood of Westminster. Our expansive venue is made up of two ballrooms, a lounge, a boardroom, a terrace, and two foyers. When utilizing all spaces, The Establishment at Bradburn Village welcomes up to 520 guests and offers breakout space for large gatherings. Our venue is ideal for year-round events and features an outdoor terrace enclosed by oversized evergreen trees to create the perfect backdrop for cocktail receptions and small ceremonies. The grey-hued ballrooms and halls, grand chandeliers, and whimsical sconces carry an elegant and romantic feel throughout the venue, yet are dynamic to complement your event theme and style! The Establishment is conveniently located just 20 minutes outside of Denver, CO.

Our décor and carefully thought-out design allow for your own creativity and vision to come to life. With various-sized rooms, a beautiful outdoor terrace, and welcoming foyers, The Establishment adapts to all event designs and necessities. By offering full venue buyouts or single-room rentals, we cover the full spectrum of event desires and make it affordable for clients. Venue rentals include in-house audio and visual equipment, tables, chairs, and existing décor, the need for outside rentals to be brought into the facility is minimal. Further assisting you, we have hand-selected the top full-service catering partners from the Denver Metro Area to make your event complete with a delectable menu and outstanding service.

We are offering a NEW all-inclusive wedding package that includes a full venue buyout, food, a bar package, a DJ, a photographer, a day-of planner, a florist, a cake, and linens.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
Events can be booked year-round. People are welcome to tour our venue and book events by contacting our team.

Hospitality vendors can collaborate on styled shoots with us and host them at our venue. Corporations can utilize our breakout space for training and conferences. Each of our rooms is equipped with drop-down projector screens, projectors, and audio.

• Hourly Room Rentals start at $200 with a two-hour minimum
