Community Highlights: Meet Morgan & Kelley Quattrini & King of King-Quattrini Interiors

Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan & Kelley Quattrini & King.

Hi Morgan & Kelley , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
We both began our careers outside the interior design industry.

(Kelley) I am a Colorado native but moved to San Francisco after college to work as a data analyst in software startups. After renovating a family home in Colorado, I decided to leave my corporate job and pursue my true passion of interior design back in my home state.

(Morgan) I relocated from outside of Boston and began my career teaching dance and elementary school. I’ve always loved the artistry of creating – from designing lesson plans to problem-solving and organizing chaos. After having twins, I realized how important it is for a home to be both functional and a haven for family life.

We launched King-Quattrini Interiors (KQI) at the beginning of 2025 after realizing that two brains are better than one. We bonded over our shared passion for creating beautiful, livable spaces that can keep up with the chaos of everyday life.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We both made major career changes later in life, leaving established professions to start fresh in a new industry, all while raising young children. With three babies between the two of us, we launched our business and learned to juggle motherhood with the fast-paced demands of building a design firm from the ground up. Along the way, we’ve had to navigate every aspect of the business ourselves -from marketing and accounting to social media, client management, budgeting, and sourcing.

Even though it has been a challenge, this entire year has felt like an accomplishment. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together and supporting one another, learning, and celebrating every milestone along the way. Looking back at the projects we’ve completed fills us with pride and excitement for what’s to come.

King-Quattrini Interiors (KQI) is a full-service interior design firm specializing in residential remodels, with experience in commercial spaces as well. As two moms of young kids, we understand the importance of creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but also functional, durable, and truly livable.

As a team, Morgan brings a keen artistic eye and a talent for creating functional layouts that tie your entire space together in a cohesive way. Kelley focuses on bringing the design to life with ease and efficiency, taking stress off the client and ensuring a seamless process that respects your time and budget.
