Community Highlights: Meet Rachael Igoe of Poppy & Iron Interiors

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachael Igoe.

Hi Rachael, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I am a Colorado native, raised in Boulder. Following college, I spent almost a decade in NYC establishing a career in high fashion as a developer (working with Ralph Lauren, Coach, Vince Camuto, etc.). I loved the creativity, aesthetics, and fast-paced culture that came with living in the city; however, moving back to Colorado presented a unique opportunity to connect my development expertise with my desire to run a business, specifically in the interior decoration space.

I have always been drawn to how people shape their homes and create an environment that brings them joy. From custom interior decoration to new home staging, I take pride in working hands-on with clients to deliver the highest quality services that, in the end, will make a space more enjoyable.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Poppy and Iron Interiors is a one-stop shop for all things interior decorating. I will take your space and create an environment that is elevated, homey, and fun. I provide floor plans, design concepts, order management, furniture and decor placement, and vendor connections. I am always available for questions and working through ideas.

I can work remotely. A number of my clients are out of state. For staging, I can work with the furniture in your home or bring in everything. It depends on the client’s needs. I love to mix materials and price points to make a space that feels uniquely yours. I am a one-woman show and want to hustle for all of my clients. Decorating is my passion.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting?
Take it slow. Figure out what you are creating and your client before you LLC. Constructive feedback helps!
