Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Sturch and Zoie Noone. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Both Sarah and Zoie met at their previous employer in 2019 and after realizing that they wanted more than what a corporate job could offer, they decided to venture into the world of branding and marketing with a core vision of uplifting small businesses in the Denver community. Beginning in November they started playing around with the word “Reve,” French for “to dream,” to convey the drive, spirit, and dreams of small business owners trying to pave their path in an overly corporate world. Sarah and Zoie saw that the traditional marketing agency model was failing small businesses and decided to create a space where local business owners could feel supported and valued. Revv was born soon after as a brand and marketing firm specializing in all things creative media design. From SEO to social media management to web design, Revv does it all!
A little about the founders- Sarah has been in the branding and marking world for over eight years with a strong focus on analytics, digital advertising, and branding strategy. Zoie has a background in business entrepreneurship, creative design, and web development. Together they blend their talents and expertise to give high-quality branding and marketing consulting designed to “revv” up your business. Backed by analytics and data research everything they produce has intention and purpose as the foundation.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We grew too fast for ourselves. In the beginning, all of our intention and focus went to our clients. Starting a business during a pandemic meant that we focused the majority of our attention on helping our clients pivot and adjust to the changing world. However, this meant that our core business was put on the backburner, which means that once the dust settled, we had to roll up our sleeves and get back to work on our own branding and strategy. Another challenge was not being able to meet so many of our clients in person. Zoom meetings became the standard and we often missed being able to socialize and connect with our clients face-to-face.
We’ve been impressed with Revv Creative Consulting, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are Denver’s small business creative & communication consultants. At Revv Creative Consulting, we help you do the heavy lifting necessary to unveil your business’ ultimate potential. Revv has made creative & communication solutions simple with strategic implementation of content creation, brand development, and creative consistency that yields measurable results. Our goal is to create a space for you to cultivate your dream into a reality, realizing that all you have ever craved is within your grasp. We are located in Denver & specialize in brand & communication strategy in the Denver Metro Area.
Revv believes in an intimate approach to consulting and growing your business. We focus on weekly check-ins with our clients to develop a strong idea of the vision & foundation of your goals. We offer strategy and implementation trainings along with monthly analysis reports. Our goal is to bring you fair, integrative work that allows us to support your business.
Our services evolved from the strategic approach that building a business takes a targeted focus to find success. Consistency, creation, & organic growth are all aspects of the solution. Revv has fine-tuned these areas of focus into promoting, branding, & jump-starting your business. These three foundations work to attract customers, build brand recognition, and boost ROI.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
We are seeing a generational shift away from the marketing agency style that squeezes every last dime from their customers. Our generation is dedicated to making a positive impact, so we think we will see a big shift away from the “Mad Men” type of industry that has largely ignored the local and small businesses. There is more of an incentive for small businesses to be more ethical in their marketing so as not to contribute to the ethical, mental, and social damage that social media has caused. The world is changing and this pandemic has shown many business owners the benefits of bringing their business to the digital age. Businesses now need a social media presence, a functional and user-friendly website, and a solid brand strategy to stand out in the crowd. Although we don’t see Brick and mortar ever going away, we think this past year has shown small business owners that a strong and consistent digital presence is imperative for their success.
