Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always believed that beauty isn’t about changing who we are — it’s about revealing the natural radiance that’s already there. But my journey to creating Bare Radiance didn’t begin in the aesthetics world; it started in family medicine.

For years, I poured my heart into caring for patients. I would be in bed at night after putting my two beautiful girls down for bed, still charting, trying to give every patient the time, attention, and detail they deserved. I loved the work — but I was exhausted. One night, after watching me work late yet again, my husband gently reminded me that, I needed to find something that filled my own cup too. That moment shifted everything.

Out of that season of burnout came a dream: to create a space where I could care for people in a way that felt meaningful, creative, and sustainable. A place where confidence and connection would be just as important as results. That’s how Bare Radiance was born.

We opened our doors in November 2023 with a clear mission — to enhance natural beauty through safe, evidence-based treatments while fostering genuine relationships with every person who walks through our doors. What started as a leap of faith has grown into a thriving, joy-filled community.

Today, Bare Radiance stands as more than just a medical aesthetics clinic — it’s a place where people come to feel seen, cared for, and radiant from the inside out. Every milestone, from our first patient to hosting our annual Glow Gala, has been a reminder that when you lead with purpose and heart, beautiful things happen.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road — not even close. When I started Bare Radiance, I was stepping into something completely new while carrying the weight of exhaustion from family medicine. I had spent years pouring everything into patient care, and while I loved the work, I was burnt out. I left something stable to build a dream from scratch… and that came with a lot of fear and uncertainty.

In the beginning, it was just me. I was the injector, the receptionist, the marketer, the cleaner, and the one up late at night trying to figure it all out. There were moments when the stress felt overwhelming — the financial pressure, the learning curve, the endless to-do lists. There were nights I sat with tears in my eyes, questioning if I had made the right choice.

But those hard moments taught me more than the easy ones ever could. They forced me to dig deep, to trust myself, and to grow not just as a provider, but as a business owner and a person. They reminded me why I started this in the first place: to create a space that felt meaningful, safe, and empowering for both myself and my patients.

The journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth every single step. Every challenge has shaped Bare Radiance into what it is today — a place built on heart, resilience, and a whole lot of faith in something bigger than fear.

We’ve been impressed with Bare Radiance Aesthetics, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bare Radiance was built on the belief that aesthetics should never feel intimidating, overdone or “cookie cutter.” What we do is rooted in medical expertise, but what we’re really known for is creating a space where people feel seen and cared for.

We specialize in advanced skincare and aesthetic treatments like BBL and Moxi laser, injectables, microneedling, chemical peels, and personalized treatment plans — all with the goal of enhancing natural beauty, not changing it.

We take the time to educate, to listen, and to create a plan that feels personal and empowering. Coming from a background in family medicine, patient trust and safety will always be at the center of everything we do.
