Today we’d like to introduce you to Ali Divine.
Ali, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
A year after moving to Colorado from New Mexico in 2015, I reached out to “The High Country Girls” to model tattoos for a former partner to get his work out there. I, later on, became a freelance model. Throughout the years “Ali Divine with those GoodVibes” was born. She created a lane for herself and worked hard at it – the rest is history.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every journey has its bumpy roads. That’s the beautiful part about it. One bad day doesn’t mean you have a bad life- take the good with the bad and GROW from it. When you make a mistake, block your blessings, or take an opportunity your intuition told you not to take – learn from it and GROW! Some of the struggles I have encountered were not having my support system (my family) physically here to support me, coming from a town that had no networking opportunities, and doubting my potential.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a woman of many hats. I am a creator, artist, hustler, goal-getter, a vibe that is rare to come across – which sets me apart from others. I am most proud to look back and see how far I’ve come. I have been involved and badged in the cannabis industry since 2016 as an activist. I am a published tattoo model. Worked as a brand ambassador for local and internationally known brands. Walked runways and collaborated with some of Denver’s hottest clothing lines. Create content and have gained experience as a promoter (in-person & online), social media marketing, and run multiple accounts on all platforms. Featured in numerous music videos and podcasts. I am the official MC Host for “Joints & Jawns Music Festival” and recently became MC Host for an annual benefit event “Bowling for Brain Health”. In 2020 shortly after the pandemic I moved back to New Mexico and started my press on nail business, “Pressed by GoodVibes”. Within the past year, I enrolled myself into beauty school at Aveda Institute and am expected to receive my cosmetology license before Summer 2022. The opportunities to come of “Beauty by Vibes” are limitless. Stay tuned and follow my journey.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Never give up on your dreams! Go hard at whatever it is that you will eventually accomplish – (GoodVibes believes in you!) Embrace your flaws/imperfections and OWN who you are. Never compare yourself to others. There is only one YOU and nobody can do what you do as best as you do you. ; ) Never allow anybody to discredit you or belittle your worth – charge your worth + tax! Enjoy the journey. Show up for yourself every day even when you don’t feel like it… Most importantly – STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF!
