Conversations with Anna D and Adam

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna D and Adam.

Hi Anna and Adam, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We’re Anna and Adam, vloggers living in Colorado. After the 2020 pandemic shut everything down, we decided to take more time to explore our own state – in part for our own mental well-being and in part because we’d been living here for over 5 years and had barely hiked more than 10 different trails.

Anna has a passion for art and photography and Adam has a passion for filmmaking. We were really curious to see what would happen if we joined our passions together. Since we both love adventures and traveling, we began creating videos about our adventures in Colorado. Our vlog isn’t just about Colorado but that is our focus right now during the pandemic. As time went on, we really wanted to share videos inspiring people to find adventures in their own backyards.

We married on Valentine’s Day 2010 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. As we mentioned previously, travel has always been something that we both love and have done quite a bit of in the 16 years we’ve been together. So why not share our adventures? We’re on a quest to find some of the coolest spots in Colorado during this pandemic. Where should we visit next?

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, this adventure has been smooth. We’ve dabbled in a few videos that are product review-centric and have learned that we need to be more thorough in our testing of those products. As for making our travel content, the biggest challenge is working around our work schedules to go out on adventures, edit the videos, photos and share online.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We specialize in creating vlogs about adventures primarily in Colorado, since that is our home state. Our focus is to create content involving being in nature/outdoors somehow. Adam is very technical and specializes in video creation.

Anna is very artistic and specializes in photography.

We are most proud that we have been vlogging for a year and haven’t given up! The beauty of doing this project together is that we encourage each other to keep moving forward. If anything, our vlog has made our marriage stronger because we are constantly working on our communication skills with each other!

What sets us apart, in our own opinion, is that we try to find an adventure no matter where we go.
