Hi Buck, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Buck began as a passion project born from a love of the classic 70s sound. Our goal was to recreate the unique vibe and energy of that era. While we’ve made significant strides toward achieving this, we’re still on a continuous journey of musical exploration. Our recent single, ‘Apollo’s Anthem,’ serves as a testament to our progress and a taste of what’s to come.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
While our journey has been filled with the typical challenges of a band—lineup changes, creative disagreements, and the general dynamics of working closely with four individuals—we’ve always maintained a strong sense of shared purpose. We understand that these obstacles are a natural part of the creative process and have helped us grow as both musicians and as a unit.”

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Buck is a Denver-based band dedicated to reviving the spirit of 70s blues, funk, and rock. We specialize in creating original music that blends classic elements with a contemporary edge. We’re known for our energetic live performances and our ability to capture the raw, authentic sound that inspired us. What we’re most proud of is our ability to connect with audiences on a deep level. We strive to create music that’s both nostalgic and relevant, and we believe that our passion for the genre shines through in every performance. What sets us apart is our commitment to staying true to the roots of our musical influences while also pushing the boundaries of the classics. We’re constantly evolving and experimenting with new sounds, but we never lose sight of what made us fall in love with music in the first place.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Our advice is to dive in and start creating the music you love. Remember, building a successful music career is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes time, dedication, and a willingness to learn and grow. We’ve certainly faced our share of challenges along the way, but staying true to our passion has been the driving force behind our progress. Every step—from booking our first gig to releasing our first song—has been a rewarding experience. In no way have we reached the top, but the further we go, the more fun it gets!
