Today we’d like to introduce you to Ciara Larson

Ciara, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a dedicated makeup artist and makeup photographer, my journey began with a profound love for art. Drawing and painting have always been my passions, and in 2018, I discovered a unique medium that allows me to channel these artistic skills onto the canvas of the face and body. After I had my son in 2022, I shifted more time to photographing beauty products, finding joy in not only the application of makeup but the admiration behind packaging and presentation, as well. With my career being mainly internet based, I have been fortunate to curate relationships with peers, partners, & brands that I have long valued and admired.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As I’m sure any artist can attest, self-criticism and the resilience to push through comparison in a world filled with such uniquely and outrageously talented peers is one of the biggest struggles to face in a creative field. Continuously reminding myself that there is so much more to learn, helps.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am what I consider to be a “Makeup Creative”, while others might know the term “influencer”, more. Over the past decade, I have shared my makeup journey on Instagram & TikTok, leading to PR opportunities and collaborations with major brands like Anastasia Beverly Hills, Makeup Forever, TooFaced Cosmetics and more. I am proud to have curated a community of followers who value genuine, honest and trustworthy advice & partnerships with brands who admire the same. I not only specialize in the detailed aspect of beauty product photography, I am also insanely good at putting the makeup on.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I learned I do not need to be just ‘one thing’. I can be many things and be great at them all.
