Today, we’d like to introduce you to Cynthia Koogle.

Hi Cynthia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
When I retired as a Critical Care Paramedic, I was given the idea to start taking my goats to birthday parties. Our first party was for a wonderful lady turning 30.

I put 4 of our younger goats into the back of our minivan, and off I went! We have slowly grown from that party to weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, many corporate events, and birthday parties!

We are now offering Goatagrams, which is so much fun! 15 minutes of snuggle/photo ops/ and a short message delivered anywhere in the Denver Metro area! I enjoy doing school events and the education side of things!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There are always struggles! The priority for us has been the health and well-being of our goats, and sometimes, that is in conflict with people’s expectations at events.

Our biggest struggle is advertising. How and where do you advertise for Goatagrams? Advertising doesn’t seem to be my strength. I chose the wrong folks, I think. Covid made things interesting for a while, too!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe you can tell us more about your work next?
We provide wonderful, gentle, well-socialized goats to attend events.

They love being around people, checking out the whole world, and educating. I love teaching people facts and skills about homesteading and goats.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Goats and masks are a terrible idea!
