Conversations with Director Ave

Today we’d like to introduce you to Director Ave.

Hi Director Ave, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
My whole life I have been fascinated by movies, particularly ones with VFX. Since the moment I could I was chasing the dream of making filmmaking my career. Although a few distractions brought me outside of movie-making for brief periods, I am now doing what the younger me wanted to do, or at least close to it.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
My life has been unbelievably blessed, I have no reason to complain.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I do a lot of things. Most of them surround art technology. I am known for creating mostly rap music videos integrated with 3D animation or VFX. This combination is getting more popular but was rare when I started.

What sets me apart is my technical abilities. I do things most people haven’t spent the time to learn and are frankly sometimes very hard. What I am most proud of is the new opening of my new green screen/virtual production video studio in Denver called Virtual Production Studio.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
