Conversations with Dre And Catherine

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dre And Catherine

Hi Dre and Catherine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all started when we, as professionals in the fields of physical therapy and Pilates, noticed a gap in the way clients were being treated in traditional settings. We saw the need for a more personalized, holistic approach to rehabilitation—one that blended the precision of physical therapy with the mindful movement of Pilates.
As physical therapists, we understand the challenges that come with injury and recovery. We believe that true healing goes beyond just managing pain—it involves empowering people to move better, feel stronger, and regain the confidence to do what they love. For us, Pilates became the perfect complement to this mission. It offers a dynamic and therapeutic approach that enhances mobility, stability, and strength, which is why we decided to integrate it into our practice.
The demand for our approach continued to increase, and we soon realized that our mission to provide individualized care could reach even more people. That’s when we decided to expand. We’re excited to share that we’ve recently opened our second location in Castle Rock, a milestone that reflects both the growth of our business and the trust our clients have placed in us. This new space allows us to continue offering the same hands-on, personalized care we’re known for, while welcoming even more people into our community.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Running BodyIntel comes with its fair share of challenges. One of the biggest is navigating the complexities of insurance companies. Ensuring our patients receive the care they need while dealing with reimbursement rates, authorization processes, and constantly changing policies requires constant attention.
Another major challenge was the year of COVID. Like many businesses, we had to quickly adapt—implementing safety protocols, managing temporary closures, and overcoming financial uncertainty. We adapted our work environment, staggering clients and working one to one in private rooms. Through strong client and physician relationships, as well as our commitment to high-quality care, we made it through.
A third challenge is balancing the demands of business ownership with motherhood. Both owners are moms, juggling the responsibilities of running a company while also managing school drop-offs, sports schedules, and childcare. It’s a constant balancing act, but it also gives us a deep understanding of the importance of health, movement, and family—all of which influence how we run BodyIntel.
Despite these challenges, our commitment to excellence, patient care, and hiring the best providers has kept us moving forward.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
At BodyIntel, we take a hands-on, one-on-one approach to physical therapy that sets us apart from other clinics. Our physical therapists work directly with their patients during every session—constantly assessing, evaluating, and using manual techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes. This level of personalized care allows us to address each client’s specific needs in real-time.
We also integrate Pilates reformers as a key therapeutic intervention. These machines are instrumental in helping clients regain strength, flexibility, and core stability in a controlled and supportive environment. Unlike traditional rehab settings, our use of Pilates-based movement allows for a more dynamic recovery process.
Beyond rehabilitation, we offer a unique continuum of health by transitioning clients and members of the community into Pilates classes. These classes provide a safe and effective way to continue improving movement, strength, and overall wellness, with instructors who are both trained physical therapists and certified Pilates instructors. This seamless progression from rehab to long-term movement health ensures that our clients not only recover but thrive.
At BodyIntel, we’re committed to empowering our clients with the tools and support they need to move freely and confidently in their daily lives.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
One of the most important lessons we’ve learned at BodyIntel is that personalized care and human connection are everything. No matter how advanced the techniques or tools, the best outcomes happen when patients feel truly seen, heard, and supported. taking the time to work one-on-one, constantly assess and adapt, and provide hands-on care makes a significant difference in recovery and overall well-being. we love our clients!
we’ve also learned the value of adaptability—whether it’s navigating complex insurance systems, maternity leaves, injuries, overcoming the challenges of covid, or balancing the demands of running a business while raising families. being flexible and solution-oriented allows us to continue providing the highest level of care, no matter what comes our way. we love flexibility.
most importantly, we’ve realized that healing doesn’t stop when physical therapy ends. our commitment to a continuum of health—transitioning clients into pilates classes and empowering them to maintain movement—reinforces our belief that lasting wellness is a journey, not a destination. we love pilates!
