Conversations with Elise Lopez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elise Lopez.

Hi Elise, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hello! I’m Elise and I started my handmade jewelry business, Wild Lobo, in April of 2021. I’ve always created and traded art, but finally took the plunge to do this full time after working from home for most of the pandemic in 2020. My favorite part about making jewelry is the transfer of my energy into something beautiful that can be worn for generations.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Mostly it’s been a very manageable road! The biggest obstacle for me is my health. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2017 and it greatly impacts how often I am able to use my hands and create. All the work you see is made on days when my body allows me and is so special!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I love silversmithing and taking my inspiration from nature! Nature is all around us and my goal is to make you feel close to it at all times. Keeping an organic workflow is the top priority for me!
