Today we’d like to introduce you to Elvia Robles
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Allure Rentals was born in September of 2023, it was a big year for our family, we decided it was time to believe in our vision and brand. Here we are a year later, it has not been easy but it has been worth it. Lots of late nights and early mornings, laughs, tears and everything in between. Looking back at the first year, we are proud and eager to keep evolving and continuing to elevate your events!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A lot of ups and downs, but no complaints! Time management as a business owner is always a big struggle.
A big struggle we have is managing time as a family and as business partners, it is easy to constantly talk about work and not stick to business hours, but when you pour so much into a venture, it is so hard to take any attention away from it, so we are just learning to balance it all!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are an event rental business, ran by a husband and wife. Proud Latinos taking up space in the industry!
Aside from chairs and tables, all of our inventory is custom built in our garage, Luis does the wood working and operations side of things and I handle marketing, social media and the creative side of events. If I can think it, he can make it, and together we bring it all to life for our clients. We truly make a great team, combining our unique traits in everything we do.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Success is not linear. Everyday is a new day to grow. Also, nothing is ever as hard as you imagine it to be!
As a huge over-thinker, I’ve slowly learned to let go and trust that we’ve made the right decisions, big or small.
