Today we’d like to introduce you to Frances Sullivan
Hi Frances, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Thank you for the opportunity to share a bit about my background! I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and after high school, I moved to Lexington, Kentucky, to attend the University of Kentucky, where I majored in Clinical Leadership and Management with a minor in Health Promotion. My academic background gave me a strong foundation in leadership, problem-solving, and helping others – skills that have been incredibly valuable in my real estate career. About four years ago, I made the move to Denver and jumped straight into real estate. I began my career at Keller Williams as part of a large team, which provided me with invaluable experience before joining forces with Kerry King at Compass. Kerry had a vision to start her own brokerage, and her entrepreneurial spirit was something I couldn’t pass up. That’s how I became part of Painted Door Properties, and I’m proud to share that I’ve recently been named Team Lead! It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m thrilled to continue growing with such a great team. As we build something special and make a lasting impact on the Denver Metro market, I’m more excited than ever for the future and the opportunities ahead!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Real estate can be an incredibly rewarding career, but it also comes with its fair share of challenges. The market is constantly shifting, and staying ahead of trends requires a deep understanding of market conditions, local dynamics, and client needs. As a realtor, I often work long hours because success relies on being available, responsive, and juggling multiple transactions at once. Negotiating deals, managing expectations, and maintaining a work-life balance can be overwhelming, especially when client demands are high or market conditions are unpredictable. Despite these challenges, the ability to help my clients achieve their real estate goals, see the results of my hard work, and create lasting relationships is what keeps me in the industry.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a realtor serving the Denver Metro area, and my focus is on helping buyers and sellers transition from the life they have to the life they dream about. Whether someone is looking for their first home, upsizing, downsizing, or relocating, my goal is to guide them through the process with empathy and clarity. I specialize in building strong, lasting relationships with my clients. My business is primarily relationship and referral-based. What sets me apart is my dedication to understanding what my clients are experiencing at each stage of their journey and tailoring my approach to their specific needs. I take great pride in being my client’s trusted guide during such a significant transition and am honored to play a role in helping my clients achieve their dreams. The thing I’m most proud of is the lasting connections I’ve built with clients over the years!
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Denver is an incredible place to live, and many things make it special. For me, what stands out the most is the blend of urban living and outdoor adventure. I love that I can easily access everything the city has to offer while being just a short drive away from the mountains. Whether it’s hiking in the Rockies, snowboarding in the winter, or enjoying the countless breweries on a sunny day, there’s always something to do outdoors. The people here are genuinely friendly and make it easy to feel at home. There isn’t anything I don’t like about this City!
