Today we’re excited to be connecting with Gretchen (snyder) Pleshaw again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Gretchen, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
My name is Gretchen (Snyder)Pleshaw and I am a TV and Radio personality on Channel 92 “Good Morning Vail” and Always Mountain Time Radio (KKCH, KIFT and KIDN playing the top 40’s) and I live in the mountains in Vail Colorado. I love living in this Gorgeous mountain town and feel grateful daily to be able to do what I love as a career. I try and maintain a positive attitude towards life. I try and find the beauty in people, situations and life in general. I truly believe that looking for the good is half the battle. I wanted to be a teacher for deaf children and went to CU Boulder to pursue this. My major was dropped my sophomore year and life took me in a different direction. I decided to pursue English and make it my major. While I was in Boulder I got approached by someone to model in a fashion show for Boulder Museum of Contemporary Arts and to get some head shots taken and then from there I started modeling then I started hosting a tv show on Channel 3 in Denver and moved to Vail where I became a radio dj/personality. I get to work on tv and radio and act for a living and I couldn’t be happier. I try and live my life with joy and gratitude and to be happy!!
Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
I have been excited to continue on being the Voice of The LIFT FM (KKCH, KIFT and KIDN) playing the top 40’s in Colorado and loving it. I also am the weekend host of Good Morning Vail (channel 92) and The Glitz and Glam with Gretchen. I absolutely adore doing interviews of people on both platforms because I am genuinely thrilled to learn about people and what they do in their lives. I also do the Xgames every year in January at the Xgames in Aspen and this year will be my 12th year doing them. I love working on tv and radio and am Grateful daily for the opportunity to. I truly feel if you work hard and are nice to people and truly enjoy what you do that you can manifest many of your dreams!
