Conversations with James Clifford

Today we’d like to introduce you to James Clifford.

Hi James, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
As a young skier on the East Coast, I quickly learned that skiing in the west is WAY better than the east and adventured to Colorado to find what I desired as a lifestyle. I worked hard, I also worked nights so that every day I could go skiing! My path was not predicted or premeditated. However, my journey brought me to great places and even better people. I discovered new relations through work, life, and passion that helped shape who I am today as an adult still always seeking adventure.

Spending many years in Colorado allowed me to then branch out to California to continue to seek big mountains and deep snow. Along with both, I found amazing relationships and people that fostered the same life, same passions, and same desires that I always felt running through my own blood.

Years later I find myself always seeking adventure and always finding a life balance that helps lead to a fun first mentality.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Relationships and work have always been a topic of struggle.

You can play hard but you really need to build solid building blocks to help sustain a life you truly love. Work does not always allow for the fun part, finding a career path that allows for this is not easy, and when you do you truly need to cherish it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Creation, brand building, and storytelling have always been a plus for me.

Taking ideas and turning them into life experiences for others is one of my very favorite aspects of working in the marketing world. Passion keeps dreams alive… Dreams keep people motivated… and Motivation keeps people healthy!

Hunting, fishing, and camping with my family.
