Conversations with Jennifer Baio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Baio. 

Hi Jennifer, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I began without realizing I had even begun. As a hairstylist, I realized way too late that I was intuitively reading my clients while doing their hair. They’d ask me for advice, apply it, and come back for their next appointment hyping up my advice. I just didn’t remember what I had told them, which I attributed to being busy and not remembering everything. Turns out when you channel information from Spirit or Source, you are simply the conduit and don’t always recall the information you give to others. 

I had always been interested in the Spiritual world, would regularly get readings, and saw spirits. My first encounter was in my great-grandmother’s bathroom, I will never forget that moment as it scared THE crap out of me and I refuse to look into a mirror in the dark still to this day. I would know when the phone was going to ring and who it would be, I would know when things were going to happen and how it would impact me. 

Fast forward into my early 30s and one day I joined a Facebook group for people on a spiritual journey. In this group, you could go live every Thursday and give readings. I’d been given plenty of readings previously, was aware & confident I had spiritual gifts but hadn’t used them on-demand before. 

On a random Thursday, I went live in that group and never looked back. I gave reading after reading almost every Thursday for about a year. After a few months of doing these live readings, I began to learn more about my gifts, studying with the intention of helping others heal and grow. 

Today I do this work full time, helping clients find closure, healing, and love. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This journey has been filled with ups and downs. Entrepreneurship is not the easy route, by any means. I find it to be rewarding to move through transition periods and learn new things about myself and my business, but there are definitely days I have to step away before I let things get to me. Advertising, consistently posting on socials, and what feels like constant self-promotion is what gets me. Being consistent in those areas are what drives my business but it’s the most energetically draining too. 

Being prepared for the slow season, and not losing faith in my business is another struggle I work through. It’s easy to equate a slow period to mean you aren’t bringing value to the people who choose to work with you.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I wear a few different hats. I’m a psychic medium, medical intuitive, and energy worker. I specialize in working with moms who are trying to break the cycles of their childhood to make a positive impact on their parenting. Most often these moms are going through a spiritual awakening of sorts and recognize that they desire to make shifts in how they live life as women and as mothers. 

I’m most known for my straightforward approach. I speak clearly, deliver the guidance as it comes through, and hold space for my clients to see where things are going. I help them on their path of self-discovery, and watching these ladies transform and recognize things within themselves is the best part of what I do. 

I’m most proud of my mentees! They are a fantastic bunch of healers and readers who are making positive impacts on their communities and their families. 

I also own an apothecary, Golden Light Apothecary, that was born out of my clients wanting natural ways to support their physical bodies while we did the spiritual and emotional work. As an herbalist, I craft healing balms, tinctures, herbal bath salts, teas, and body care. All of which are infused with golden healing energy, Reiki, to aid in the healing properties of the herbs. 

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I was an introvert-extrovert. I had sensitive feelings but tried to hide them, and found my friend circle always to be small. I was always the leader in social settings yet I never really felt that I fit in. Looking back that was mainly due to being empathetic, and not recognizing what emotions were mine and what ones weren’t. 

I loved to play music and sing, ended up being in the school band starting in 5th grade through the beginning of my senior year of high school. Symphonic band, jazz band, and marching band with 3 different instruments as a fun time in high school.

• Mentorship $175/mo. with a 6 mo. commitment. Bi-weekly 1:1 sessions, the mentorship is based on where you are at on your spiritual journey and where you want to go. Homework & daily activities are involved in your time commitment to this program.
• Energy Healing $88 this is for specific needs that need to be addressed for healing
• Spiritual Healing $165 this is a shadow work session combined with products from the apothecary.
• Energy Doc On Demand $166/mo all-access pass to energy healing for the month. These are remote sessions, where I voicememo any instructions or necessary information before/during/after. NOT live.
