Hi J&L, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our mission is to provide our readers with budget-friendly travel guides of the top noms, brews, & views in places around the world. We understand that travel time is limited and precious. Therefore, we would like to share our tips & tricks on how to optimize our reader’s activities while staying within budget. We love trip planning and have spent countless hours researching to extract the highest possible value from our vacation budget. We want to share those itineraries with our readers so that they too are able to create amazing memories around the world. 

The outline of our guides follows the three key elements that we have identified as the foundation of our journeys: eating delicious foods, spending time in nature, and enjoying high-quality brews. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Creating a website requires much more than initial setup. Our business backgrounds have allowed us to keep a focus on the needs of our readers, however, learning all of the tools and techniques to gain readership was a challenge. We are constantly learning new ways to advertise our articles, inspire our viewers, and compile information into a user-friendly outline. With that, has come a lot of re-work and re-design. As we obtain feedback and learn from our peers, our website and travel guides continue to improve. We are constantly updating and improving our site in order to provide a better user experience for our readers. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Noms Brews & Views specializes in budget-friendly itineraries. A low-cost trip does not necessarily mean that one will have a low-quality experience. We have discovered countless resources that we share with our readers in order to find great deals on flights, lodging, transportation, and excursions. Finding great travel deals allows our readers to have more room in their budget for incredible experiences (views), delicious foreign cuisines (noms), and tasty craft beers (brews) in places all over the world. We also specialize in our offline mobile guides. We compile a list of our recommendations for each of our destinations and pin them as saved locations in Google Maps. Readers are able to access our pinned attractions even in airplane mode, allowing access to the very best noms, brews, & views while navigating abroad or hiking in parks without cellular service. 

What matters most to you?
What matters most to us is sharing all of the travel tips and resources we have discovered over the years with our readers in order to encourage and inspire travel. The world is such a magnificent place filled with different cultures, ideas, arts, and nature. We have the strongest appreciation for the world we live in when we are traveling. We hope to inspire a similar appreciation in the minds of our readers by providing an affordable way for those of all backgrounds and financial constraints to witness the beauties of this world.
