Conversations with JRob

Today we’d like to introduce you to JRob.

Hi JRob, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started playing drums at the age of two years old and then picked up piano at age 15 and started being a musical director for mega churches and events at age 22. I founded my own production company called “J-Rob Productions” in 2005 where I produce albums, MD events, and be a full-time musician. I later founded my up and coming record label called “JRob Records” in 2019 where I have three amazing artists!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It definitely was not an easy road. My biggest struggle was being afraid to fail, being told no or you’re not ready yet, and never getting complacent in my life or career.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a top charting Billboard producer/musician and I specialize in being creative in musical production and direction. I’m really known for taking music and putting my own spin on things! I’m most proud of being able to do what love as a career and never having to work a day in my life. What sets me apart from others is one thing and one thing only that’s my work ethic, There are a lot of incredible producers and musicians out there but I always strive to make sure that they’ll never outwork me.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Denver is home for me and I’ll ALWAYS represent my city!! I love that Denver is a place where you can raise a family and has an absolutely amazing view of the mountains that I can look at on the daily basis. The thing I like the least about my city is the lack of support we have here for other people and I pray that we can better as a community with that
