Today we’d like to introduce you to Kathleen Heiney-pelz

Hi Kathleen, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story is so long. But will give it a shot. I moved to Co in 94 after graduate school from Indiana University. My master’s is in Kinesiology with a concentration in Adapted P.E. I came to Colorado for a conference and fell in love with it. I worked in sales for a short time, got fired from a company (long story) hired a life coach in 99 and she suggested I get into Coaching. I am a teacher by trade so no surprise that I fell in love with coaching. I was life coaching for a couple of years, but at that time I didn’t enjoy being on the phone. I did my training through Coach University, at that time, it was a prestigious 3-year program, I only finished 2 years and started dabbling in teaching golf. I started playing competitive junior golf in Indiana at 7 until I was 18, but I was not interested in playing in college :(.. As I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do I stumbled into the LPGA and launched my own Golf & Wellness business in 2003.. My teaching career started at Overland Golf Course and is now at Fossil Trace.. Over the years I developed Golf & Wellness retreats and programs. I trademarked Yoga Fit FORE Golf after my yoga teacher training and continued with my personal training and wellness business. In 2019 I stumbled on Shockwave in 2015.. That is important as i was a patient for several years.. that is how i fell in love with it, Covid happened, and I kept trying to figure out how to start the regeneration business, I needed a medical degree, license or practitioner to work under. I approached my Chiro in 2022, we launched Regen3 Therapeutics in Dec. of 2023 and I am not building that business and still running LINC Golf & Wellness. LINC is an acronym for Live, Inspire, Nurture, and Commit.. Live every day, Inspire Others, Nurture yourself and commit completely..

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a crazy ride, but I don’t let many obstacles get in my way.. It has been up and down and have had many amazing people come into my life that have helped my career move forward. The universe is magical.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an amazing coach, teacher and educator. I specialize in teaching golf, yoga, fitness, wellness etc.. with the whole mind and body combined. I am unique and different in my industry because of my education and background. I am most proud of so many things. I am a successful entrepreneur and always want to reinvent, change, shift learn and grow myself and my business.. Of course most proud is being a mother as well. My business was my first baby, but my daughter is the real prize.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Not at the moment, there are so many stories and wins.. too many to list haha.. I am so blessed to do what I do!
