Today we’d like to introduce you to Lacey and Taylor Ferguson.
Hi Lacey and Taylor, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
We got married in September 2022 and during our bachelorette party earlier in the year we came up with the idea to start a podcast.
We have always wanted to have a joint venture together but were never quite sure what that would be. As a part of the LGBTQ community, queer shows and content are very important to us. At the time, the show The L Word Generation Q was airing. We decided that was the perfect topic for our new podcast!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overall, yes it has been a fairly smooth road.
Our biggest challenges have included getting the word out to our target audience, learning how to edit and publish a podcast, technical difficulties, and of course the show we were recapping got canceled. These may sound like big challenges but truly it has been fun to navigate and problem-solve together!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Taylor is a chiropractor and owns her own chiropractic office here in Denver.
Lacey is a certified CrossFit coach and coaches CrossFit and individual athletes at a gym in Golden. Both Taylor and Lacey are passionate about health and fitness!
What do you like and dislike about the city?
We love how accessible the outdoors is here. We love going to the mountains, hiking, camping, snowboarding, and paddle boarding!
However, it’s nice that we are still close to the city so we can easily travel, try new restaurants, go to concerts, and of course pride! We also love our queer community here in Denver. The only thing we don’t love about being in Denver is that we are far from Taylor’s family.
