Conversations with Martini & Gabby Agurto

Today we’d like to introduce you to Martini & Gabby Agurto.

Hi Martini & Gabby, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Til The Last Drop Mobile Bartending started with a simple idea: people remember moments more than anything, and great moments are often made around a drink, a laugh, and good company. My spouse and I had always been the ones hosting, mixing cocktails in the kitchen, setting up little bars at family gatherings, and turning regular nights into something just a little more special. Friends would always joke, “You two should do this professionally.” It started as laughter, but the spark stuck.

During COVID, like a lot of people, we began rethinking what we wanted life to look like. We both loved hospitality, we loved building connections, and we knew we wanted to create something that felt like us — fun, colorful, welcoming, and community-oriented. So we took the leap. We invested in equipment, got certified, said a nervous but exciting goodbye to “maybe someday,” and Til The Last Drop Mobile was born.

The journey began with backyard events and family celebrations, where most of our business came from word of mouth. People weren’t just hiring us for drinks — they were hiring the atmosphere we brought. We showed up with enthusiasm, creativity, and a real interest in making each event feel personal. Whether it was a wedding, corporate gathering, quinceañera, birthday, nonprofit fundraiser, or neighborhood block party, we put our whole heart into the experience.

And as our business grew, so did our identity. We built packages that fit every style of event, crafted signature cocktails based on our clients’ personalities, and focused on being the kind of bartenders who feel like part of the celebration instead of staff in the background. We wanted every guest to feel welcomed, seen, and excited to walk up to the bar — even those who prefer mocktails.

Today, Til The Last Drop Mobile serves Colorado Springs and beyond, delivering curated bar setups, cocktail design, and unforgettable hospitality. The name comes from our belief that every last drop of a moment matters. We’re proud to have grown by community support, genuine relationships, and a whole lot of creativity and hustle.

Where we are today is only the beginning. We’re continuing to expand our offerings, partner with local vendors, and show up for the celebrations that matter most in people’s lives. We don’t just pour drinks — we help create memories, one glass at a time.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a perfectly smooth road — and honestly, that’s been part of the growth. Starting a mobile bartending business from scratch came with plenty of challenges. In the beginning, we had no bookings, no exposure, and no idea how quickly (or slowly) things would take off. There were moments where we questioned if people would actually find us or trust a brand-new business.
But every setback taught us something. Slow months pushed us to improve our branding. Missed opportunities motivated us to sharpen our skills. And learning the industry from the ground up made us more confident, more prepared, and more intentional with how we show up for our clients.

We’re still growing and still learning, but the challenges definitely shaped us. They made us more resilient, more creative, and more committed to giving people an experience that feels personal, thoughtful, and memorable.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m currently a bartender as well as the co-owner of our mobile bartending business, so hospitality is truly what I live and breathe every day. Working behind the bar has given me hands-on experience with customer service, mixology, fast-paced environments, and understanding what guests want — and all of that carries directly into our business.

Our mobile bartending service specializes in bringing a clean, modern bar setup and high-quality service to weddings, private parties, and corporate events. We’re known for our professional presentation, friendly energy, and how smoothly we keep an event running. Because I’m an active bartender, I bring a level of skill and confidence that helps guests feel taken care of and helps events feel elevated.

I’m most proud of the experience my wife and I create together. Our teamwork, both in our business and at home, is what makes our service stand out. We pay attention to every detail — from how the bar looks to the way we interact with guests — and we treat each event like it’s our top priority.

What sets us apart is the combination of real bartending expertise, personalized service, and a clean, stylish bar presentation. We don’t just show up to pour drinks — we show up to bring a vibe, help people celebrate, and make the bar one of the highlights of the event.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that consistency beats perfection. Growth comes from showing up, improving a little each day, and staying patient during the slow moments. I’ve also learned how powerful genuine connections are — treating every client like they matter has opened more doors than anything else. Overall, the journey taught me to trust the process and keep moving forward.
