Conversations with Phannie Krentzman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Phannie Krentzman.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My life’s journey never really seemed to have a clear or direct direction. But there are two things that have always anchored me in becoming who I am today – my love of movement and the body and my deep, unshakable knowing that I was born for something more than the mundane reality I was offered.
Arriving at where I am now in my message, offerings and trainings is a long and wandering trail that has taken me down a path bringing my closer and closer to not only my own truth, but the truth of human potential and our ability to truly create and transform our lives and reality into the dreams we hold in our hearts.
I started off as a dancer, beginning my love affair with movement and expression at the age 13 when I began my formal dance training at DSA in the 7th grade. As life typically does, the purity of my connection to dance and movement was tainted by the ‘rules’ of the craft and at the young age of 17 I pivoted to the healing arts, getting my massage license by the age of 18. Through the next 20 years I moved between dance, movement arts, healing arts and consciousness and intuition training. As I travelled through life I would work on bodies and with bodes in various ways, always expanding my education- Reiki, Aikido, somatic movement practices, sounding, yoga, intuition training, and probably some I’ve forgotten by now. What I came to realize is you cannot separate the experience and function of the body from the animating life of consciousness. The more I practiced, trained and facilitated movement the harder it became to distinguish.
My biggest pivot was, like many others, in 2020 when my dance company Radical Love Movement could no longer perform. During that incubation I encountered two trainings that tied all of my life’s experiences up very neatly with a beautiful, magnificent bow. How the body actually works through the lens of Biotensegrity and how human consciousness works to create our reality. It became very clear to me that the body holds the road map to true creative potential- being both a place to return to our innate wisdom and evolutionary efficiency as well as the becoming of who we are as embodied spirit, here to play the game of life.
I now speak, train and coaching bringing people, primarily women, into a greater awareness about how to remember their natural bodies and harness their supernatural powers to create what truly matters to their infinitely powerful heart.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My biggest challenges have been with my own dysfunctional patterning and getting to a place where being seen doesn’t feel like death. We all have a pattern of limitation that imprints on us in our early years of life, and mine is designed to keep me from even knowing what I want. Anytime I would get close to what really matters to my heart I would go through a number of things to make sure I didn’t move towards it. Keeping myself connected to my passion and expression is one of my biggest struggles. That manifest for me in not following through after success. So instead of building momentum I tend to have to start over from scratch all the time. Not a great pattern for building a business but it is great at keeping my egoic orientation intact. Finding my place and my people has also been a struggle of mine. That fear of being seen creeps in and makes me move on before I can establish myself or build real community. I’ve often felt that people don’t want the work I provide because it isn’t a quick fix and requires actual commitment. In the world of 1 second attention spans it’s hard to see how anybody could focus long enough to understand what I offer. But there is nothing more worthwhile than knowing and having your heart. So now with my awareness and ability to apply my will I am able to move myself forward into the world of visibility and sharing myself with those who are truly ready to have what it is they are seeking.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I train women in embodying their true potential, giving them the ability to create the life of their dreams. My life has been one of great journey and transformation, until now all of the twists and turns seemed unrelated and random.
I’ve spent most of my professional career creating multimedia movement performances that explore consciousness and the human condition, teaching dance and somatic movement, and facilitating intuition and embodiment workshops to bring women home to themselves. I’ve learned that all of this is my artistic expression and one of my gifts is in drawing out other women’s genius and creative potential. That doesn’t always mean an artistic pursuit or profession- but what I specialize in is giving women the ability to live from the creative orientation. Training them back into their innate power so that they do not have to compromise on what it is that they desire at the core of their being and that true manifestation comes when we claim who we were born to be.
What sets my apart from others is that I use both the wisdom of the body and the infinite potential of creative spirit. That the material world of matter and the energetic world of spirit are woven and inextricably connected within the body. Using just one or the other can only take you so far, but using them together gives you an advantage that will set you apart in your ability to create.
I’ve recently launched my Through The Body Training Program which is a 9 month course to educate and train you into your true potential, truly a culmination of my life’s work. I am so proud of it. I have been sitting on it for almost 6 years and now that it is running I am so grateful that I took the leap to share this level of work. We are only in month 4 so far but the level of transformation and awareness already manifested in the group is overwhelming. I am so excited to be enrolling another round starting in the new year. I find myself set apart from others because I don’t care to waste time on selling people into quick fixes that won’t actually create lasting change. I am dedicated to offering real work that creates a cascade of transformation not just in my clients lives, but in the world as a whole.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I would say that my resilience and ability to stay present are my most important qualities for my success, both of which I get from my movement practice. The work I facilitate can be very confronting and bring up a lot of resistance and reaction. My ability to adapt when needed and stay completely in the moment I’m in has served me in moving my business and life forward without lots of unnecessary suffering. Not to mention my commitment to my intuition. There will always be the plan you make and what is actually unfolding. I now follow my intuition in every situation and it always creates outcomes I didn’t even foresee.
