Hi Rooftop, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It all started back 2005 when I didn’t have enough money to go to the studio . So without permission I built a home studio in the Basement of my parents house. I realized soon that the quality wasn’t good so I went years paying for studio time . In 2015 I decided I wanted to be more involved in my music so I paid a local engineering legend to show me everything he knows and now we are here and the rest is history!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have to say it’s been smoother than most a lot of engineers in the state. I had already built a relationship with all the artist so when they found out I was recording I was fully booked and have been for about 3 years now! There were some struggles but just to get better and at a place where I compete with the best !

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an engineer first but during my career there is some down time that’s when I started picking up instruments and making beats! I’m now an engineer/ producer meaning all you need is the lyrics and I’ll help you with everything else 😎. I also Dj and promote for loco socials on my downtime. I’m most proud of studio we’ve only been open for a little over a year and we are constantly booked and even hired another engineer. God is so good !

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Determination , patience and being solution based. All characteristics that help me flourish.

Pricing:

• 60$ per hour includes mix if artist is prepared
• 100$ per beat includes exclusive rights
• 500$ per beat for full rights
• 75 $ per beat for a lease
