Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Sowa
Hi Taylor, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started doing photography at a young age just as a hobby. Once I got into college I got asked about taking family photos for friends, and that when I started to learn about the editing process for people rather than places and things. It wasn’t truly until 2020 that I decided to put my heart into what I do, and turn it into something. From there it grew into what I have built today!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In December of 2020 I found out that the child I was carrying has congenital heart disease. After he came along I decided to take some time off, and I moved. I then had to start all over in a sense with my client building and relationships.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My main focus is wedding/elopement photography and couples. As a wedding photographer, my passion goes beyond capturing images, it’s about building meaningful relationships with my couples. I take pride in getting to know their unique love stories, ensuring they feel comfortable, celebrated, and genuinely understood throughout the process. What sets me apart is my commitment to creating a personalized experience, where every photo reflects the emotions and moments that make their day truly unforgettable. For me, it’s not just about the pictures; it’s about preserving the connection and joy of their wedding day.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love the laidback vibe and outdoor culture of Denver! I don’t ever feel out of place in casual clothes. However, I could certainly live without the traffic going into the city and the cost of everything!
