Conversations with Zan Steflic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zan Steflic.

Hi Zan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a music Future Bass/Dubstep DJ and Producer from Slovenia, everything started in 2016, this was a bitter-sweet year for me I lost my father and later this year, I discovered The Chainsmokers and Illenium who helped me a lot with their music to give me new life motivation and this brought me to become a music producer later.

It just started with a PC program called FL studio I was learning a lil bit from year to year. But when corona hit the world, I had more time to take my career to the next level I was producing almost all day long every day.

In 2021, I released my first track Taste of You and later I released 3 more tracks called Falling Deeper, Call You Mine and Be There, all released on a much bigger label Called High Five Music with a much bigger fanbase, with over 1 million fans.

This year, I started to take professional production lessons from Culture Code. Because bass music isn’t really popular in my home country, I finally had an opportunity to play for the first time in another country, this was in Denver, CO. On a private Illenial’s pre-party one day before the Illenium Trilogy show. Right now, I’m planning to move to another country and take my music career to the next level.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are always struggles with mental health, but going to shows to see my favorite artists helps me always.

I’m a music Producer and DJ, I’m known as Fall the Sky.

I’m proud that had an opportunity to play in Denver this June. I have a unique music style I’m the only bass producer in Slovenia right now. other artist plays only house music here.
