Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Antonsen.
Hi Alyssa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started in real estate just before I graduated in late 2020. I wanted to take my perspective on business and apply what I knew about small business operations from my education and previous work to my own business. Not only that, but from my recent travels around the states seeking out state and national parks to feel a sense of calm in my inner world, the differences (or should I say similarities) of how the space in our country is used for properties left me wondering how we can make an even more beautiful environment for Colorado through our architectural landscape. I see the exponential growth that real estate has and I want to share the advantages of using property and equity as a tool for the future, and how you can functionally and sustainably use your space to succeed. It’s a unique experience for every individual, I want to hear how we can use the tools I’ve learned to help leverage you to the market.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Becoming an agent was the easy part, learning how to navigate the information being thrown a million different ways every day and sustaining a business was challenging. The market was accelerating and there was no shortage of people who were being overwhelmed by prices or inventory, so it took some sea legs to finally understand how to deliver information without driving people away from the market. Homebuying is an emotional experience, I love sharing that experience with people, even if it can be rocky. Luckily, I’ve had plenty of great mentors and friends to look to for support through those first steps. Every day I see something new and it makes it all worth it… but it definitely was not smooth.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The core of what I do is rooted in a personal customer experience. Your home buying process would be much different than mine, and that’s why understanding the intention behind buying makes a world of difference. My job is to guide you based on what you want and analyze the market to support your best interests. I work with a wonderful team, and they are my backbone so that I can be yours! Now is such an important time to find someone fluent in real estate, I’m always happy to chat with anyone about how I make the process even more valuable through knowledge and convenience.
What do you think about happiness?
Happiness truly comes from perspective, right? When I am most happy I am exploring, whether that’s skiing in our majestic Colorado mountains or researching a new product that could change our world, it keeps me optimistic. I work in a very humbling industry, if you are looking for the bad that’s all you’ll see, regardless of the opportunity. Seeing even just a grain of opportunity in everything is happiness to me.
