Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Haudenschield

Hi Anna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
From a young age, I have always had a deep appreciation for the beauty industry, which eventually developed into a passion that I had to pursue. My journey in aesthetics began in 2018, offering eyelash extensions from home before transitioning to mobile services. My love for the industry led me to further my education, and I enrolled in aesthetics school. There, I discovered the vast opportunities my license afforded me, allowing me to earn advanced certifications.

Shortly after, I secured my first position in the industry, but when the pandemic struck, I saw it as an opportunity to start my own business, Opulence Skin Solutions. What began in a two-room suite with just myself and my mother, who serves as our Medical Director, quickly gained momentum. To my surprise, my dreams came true and my business took off. I soon hired my first employee, followed by a second. As the demand grew, we made the decision to expand from our little space into a storefront property.

Now, five years later, Opulence Skin Solutions has grown into a thriving business with a dedicated team of nine professionals and ten treatment rooms. Although the journey has been challenging, it has been incredibly rewarding, and I am immensely grateful for the remarkable team we have built along the way.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has certainly presented its challenges over the years, but I am fortunate to have a dedicated and supportive team by my side. Transitioning from a two-room suite to a storefront felt like starting anew. While the expansion was an exciting milestone, it also came with the significant challenge of hiring additional providers to fill the space and attracting more clients to support them.

We continue to navigate the rising operational costs, which have made it challenging to sustain the growth of my small business. However, we are fortunate to have a loyal and supportive client base, a great local community that consistently refers others to us, allowing us to persevere and continue delivering exceptional service each day. My primary goal has always been to create an affordable, no-pressure spa environment, as I firmly believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality services, a value that remains at the core of our business despite the challenges of today.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
At Opulence Skin Solutions, I specialize in a wide range of aesthetic treatments, with a primary focus on injectables. While I am proficient in all services offered at the spa, I am particularly recognized for my expertise in natural lip filler techniques and lash enhancements. My commitment to patient care is reflected in the knowledge and attention I bring to every procedure, ensuring a comfortable experience even during more sensitive treatments.

Beyond performing treatments, I oversee our social media and marketing, as well as manage the daily operations of the spa and team, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for both clients and staff.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite memory as a child was when I was 6 getting my first dog! It was a dream come true as my brothers and I were begging for a dog for so long. I was so excited because he was 6 and I was 6 so we were automatically best friends. He was a Saint Bernard named Tank.
