Daily Inspiration: Meet Bobby Neptunus Rex

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bobby Neptunus Rex.

Hi Bobby, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began my journey as a child writing spec scripts for television shows I watched. In my teens, I created my first original stories.

As I had fallen in love with music I strayed from scripts and screenplays. Gaining some musical momentum I focused mainly on hip-hop. After a group breakup, I began to work on my graphic novel. Which essentially led to different stories skits etc. Present day I have a web series a pretty dope podcast and a catalog of music with more on the way

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never a smooth road. The bumps made me who I am though, the loss of my mother really hit me hard in 2015.

Many other things tried to slow me down but to no avail.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I mainly am a focused writer/actor. Neptunus Rex my alter ego is the musician.

I’m proud of all the work I’ve done. But I do feel the Show I’m working on now will be one of the greatest things I’ve taken part in. The thing that sets me apart I leave it up to the people to decide.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
