Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Hague
Hi Brooke, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
There was a time when my life felt like a cycle of pain and survival. I was trapped in an abusive relationship, grieving the loss of my dad, and drowning in addiction. That path led me to prison, a place I never imagined I’d end up. But it was there, in the darkest moment of my life, that I made the decision to change.
I got sober and fought hard to rebuild my life. I started a career in IT, creating stability for myself, but deep down, I knew I was meant for something more. After divorcing a narcissist and a suicide attempt, I turned to spirituality for healing, uncovering a strength I didn’t know I had. As I celebrated nine years of sobriety, my purpose became clearer—I wanted to create, to help, to inspire but also manifest the life of my dreams.
That’s when Soulcravt was born—an art collective where I could express myself through photography, metaphysical jewelry, and spiritual coaching. But my calling didn’t stop there. I left IT behind to step fully into my purpose, becoming a peer recovery coach with NAS Recovery Solutions. Now, I teach workshops and work to reduce recidivism, helping others find the same freedom I fought for.
My past doesn’t define me—it fuels me. Every struggle led me here, and now, I’m using my journey to help others reclaim theirs.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Even after getting sober, I struggled with who I was. For so long, my identity had been tied to survival—escaping pain, addiction, and toxic relationships. When those things were no longer dictating my life, I was left with a question I didn’t know how to answer: Who am I?
Without a clear sense of purpose, depression crept in. There were days when the weight of it felt unbearable, moments when I wondered if I even wanted to keep going. I attempted to end it all once, believing I had nothing left to give. But something—call it fate, call it divine intervention—kept me here. And I held onto that.
Even as I built a new life, the shadows followed. Impostor syndrome whispered that I wasn’t enough. Fear of failure made me hesitate. But through it all, I never let go of my sobriety. No matter how lost I felt, I refused to go backward. Deep down, I had faith that the universe had my back, even when I couldn’t see the path ahead.
That faith carried me through every doubt, every setback. It reminded me that my struggles weren’t signs to stop—they were proof I was still moving forward.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Soulcravt is more than just an art collective—it’s a safe space, a reflection of my journey, and a place where others can find pieces of themselves. Through photography, I capture the raw, unfiltered beauty of life, the moments that speak to the soul. My metaphysical decor and jewelry, crafted with crystals and bones, are more than just objects; they hold energy, intention, and the spirit of transformation. Just as these materials are given new life, I believe in breathing new life into ourselves, in reclaiming our power and purpose.
But my work doesn’t stop there. As a peer recovery coach with NAS Recovery Solutions, I’m dedicated to reducing recidivism and giving back to those who are fighting to rebuild their lives. I know firsthand what it’s like to feel lost, to be trapped in cycles of fear and self-doubt. That’s why I guide others in stepping out of fear and into transformation.
I help others find their own path in recovery, not just through sobriety but through true healing—through mindset shifts, self-discovery, and the power of manifesting. I teach the 12 Laws of the Universe, showing people that they are not powerless, that they have the ability to create a life beyond their past.
At the heart of it all is an altruistic mindset—this isn’t just about me. It’s about lifting others up, about breaking cycles, about proving that change is possible. Recovery is more than just staying sober—it’s about stepping into the life we were meant to live. And I’m here to help others do just that.
What sets me apart is that I’ve lived the journey I teach. I’m not just speaking from theory—I’ve walked through the fire. I know what it’s like to lose yourself, to battle addiction, to feel like change is impossible. I’ve been in the depths of rock bottom, and I’ve also stood on the other side, proof that transformation is real. That firsthand experience allows me to connect deeply with the people I help, to guide them with empathy, understanding, and an unwavering belief in their potential.
With Soulcravt, I offer something unique—a blend of art, spirituality, and personal empowerment. My photography isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about capturing the essence of a moment, a soul, a feeling. My metaphysical creations aren’t just jewelry or decor; they are tools for healing, crafted with intention and meaning.
As a peer recovery coach, I go beyond traditional recovery methods. I teach the 12 Laws of the Universe, bringing a spiritual and energetic perspective to healing. I help people break free not just from addiction, but from limiting beliefs, fear, and the cycles that keep them stuck. My approach is holistic—mind, body, and spirit—helping others manifest the lives they deserve.
What truly sets me apart is my commitment to leading by example. I don’t just tell people they can change—I show them how, through my own story, my work, and my unwavering belief that the universe always has our backs.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Finding a mentor is a powerful step in both recovery and spiritual growth. Whether you’re looking for guidance in peer recovery or spiritual coaching, the key is to find someone who truly aligns with your values and beliefs. Your mentor should not only have the knowledge and experience to guide you but also embody the kind of energy and mindset you aspire to cultivate.
Start by seeking out people who share your spiritual foundation. Whether you connect through spiritual communities, online spaces, or personal development circles, alignment is essential—your mentor should challenge and inspire you while still resonating with your path.
Networking is crucial. Be pro-social—engage with people, have meaningful conversations, and step outside your comfort zone. Attend events that center around personal growth, spirituality, or leadership. Surround yourself with individuals who reflect where you want to be, not where you’ve been. Remember, you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with, so choose wisely.
And if you feel unsure, consult the cards. Tarot or oracle readings can provide clarity on who might be the right mentor or what qualities you should seek. Trust your intuition—mentorship is a relationship built on energy, guidance, and mutual growth. The right mentor will not only teach you but also empower you to step into your own wisdom.
