Daily Inspiration: Meet chad mitchell

Today we’d like to introduce you to chad mitchell.

Hi chad, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started Meridian 105 Architecture in late 2010 after working for years are larger commercial firms in Florida, Chicago, and Denver. I had grown tired of producing what seemed to be the same projects over and over, and wanted to be more creative in my career.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Learning the ins and outs of running a business, which isn’t something you learn in architecture school.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I run a boutique architecture firm.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Our firm takes calculated risks. We push the boundaries, but only to the extent that our decisions are supported by research and science.
