Hi Cooper, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Denver Storm Door started pretty simply. It was just myself and three high school kids I met at the local boxing gym where I train. With a small investment of just $500 into a box of flyers, we began placing advertisement flyers on doors—just to see if there was even a demand for storm and security doors. I wanted to test the market firsthand before building anything bigger.

To our surprise, it took off. Word spread quickly, and what started as a small experiment turned into something much bigger. Now, three years in, we’ve grown into what most consider the go-to company for storm and security doors in Denver and the surrounding metro area. We’ve built out a full office staff, a dedicated install team, and we continue to serve a growing number of homeowners who want quality, security, and professionalism.

We built this from the ground up with hustle, consistency, and a real focus on doing things the right way—and that’s what continues to drive us every day.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Any entrepreneur who’s bootstrapped and built something from nothing has faced real struggles—it comes with the territory. We’ve definitely had ours, but we’ve treated every one of them as a necessary lesson that’s helped us grow, evolve, and raise the bar day after day.

I was fortunate to have a strong role model in business—my dad—who passed down the kind of real-world knowledge you can’t learn in a classroom. That foundation gave me a major advantage.

The tough lessons, long hours, and uphill battles have all been worth it. Denver Storm Door didn’t just break into this space—we’ve raised the standard, and the results speak for themselves.

At Denver Storm Door, we specialize in storm doors, security doors, screen doors, French-style storm and security doors, and even custom options that include built-in pet doors. We’ve made it our mission to offer high-quality, secure, and stylish door solutions that fit the needs—and budgets—of every homeowner.

What really sets us apart is the level of professionalism and care that goes into every step of the process. My partner and I are incredibly proud of our team—from the first phone call with our customer service staff to the final install, every touchpoint is handled with pride, professionalism, and respect. We treat each door like it’s going on our own home.

What’s next?
As a relatively new company, our focus is on continuing to grow by making more and more customers happy every day. The positive feedback we receive from satisfied homeowners really drives us forward.

As an owner, I’m especially proud of the multiple daily calls we get from customers who have just had their Denver Storm Door professionally installed. Hearing their excitement and appreciation for the quality of both the product and the installation is incredibly rewarding for our entire team.

Looking ahead, we plan to maintain that high standard of service and professionalism while expanding our reach within the Denver Metro area. We’re committed to evolving with our customers’ needs and continuing to set the bar for quality and customer satisfaction in our industry.
