Today we’d like to introduce you to DanidKarim Eid.
Hi DanidKarim, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Artistic Edge Collective started at the end of the Summer of (2019) with four artists sharing the same passion for art. I am one of the three founders who believe in the importance of quality in art and all the possibilities of creating individually and as a group, work that reflects this belief. We crossed paths and found a common ground in our views, thoughts, desires, and perspective about art and the visual language.
Basically, we are a newly formed group. We are a seed planted in the ground.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In my view, our road is being created every day. We are a seed that was just planted a bit over two years ago, Certainly, the 2020 Pandemia challenged us all in a variety of ways, mainly in our ability to interact and gather together, indeed. Perhaps, the obstacles and challenges would be the ones every artist experiences at a personal level. For example, going through the creative process and the execution of an idea that one wants to be reflected on a canvas can be challenging at times.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an artist. I tell stories of travel, people, and our times through painting and observation because I am passionate about experiencing exotic places, unusual surroundings and sharing my adventures /explorations with others. It is a calling to make beautiful and inspiring images. I am following my spiritual voice to communicate my reverence for nature, my ideals and values about humanity and all life forms for people who are seeking to find their own spiritual connection. Although I have and can work in different mediums, I specialize in oils…
I am proud about my personal journey. I see the world differently. I arrived to what I had planned in the past for myself to be. I believe that being who I already am sets me apart from the rest. I think that is true for everyone. We all have our own voices.
How do you think about luck?
None. I believe it is about having faith and dedicating the time and effort to fulfill and accomplish our own dreams; It is also about believing in yourself and following your inner voice.
