Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Choi.
Hi Daniel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started as a photographer when I was a cadet at the Citadel Military College in Charleston, SC. From there, I was in Apple Maps and traveled throughout the country. This was when I got my first digital camera and start to take photos throughout the country. I eventually settled into Denver in 2018 and I was doing photography on and off for two years before I began full time in September of 2020 after I was let go of my sales position. I started as a family/solo portrait taker before going more into video production and now media director of the non-profit Endgame Association.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not. I was so broke. I had to call my mother just to pay rent and get groceries.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a full-time photographer/videographer/creative director. I am known for my solo portraits, videos, and being involved with Endgame Association. I’m most proud of the growth I went through and the creatives I met throughout my journey, which are now family. What set me apart is that I’m just Daniel Choi, haha.
What matters most to you?
Family, God, and community. Because when you don’t have anything, that’s all you have and need.
