Daily Inspiration: Meet Fuji Brown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fuji Brown.

Hi Fuji, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve been a fan of pro wrestling my entire life. My journey started in Indiana in 2001 after going thru college, having kids, some trials, tribulations and varying levels of success on a small scale in the midwest indie wrestling scene I decided to get serious about wrestling in 2016. I moved to New Jersey and attended the World Famous MonsterFactory. Coach Danny Cage and the staff rebuilt me and helped me immensely. The lessons I learned and the friends I gained are too many to list here. 2021, took a vacation that ended up with me moving to Denver and being blessed with the opportunity to continue wrestling on a regular basis with Primos Premier Pro Wrestling, Colorado Springs Wrestling, IWC Legacy and Train at the Butcher Shop (Primos) Dojo.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, there’s been many bumps. Financial struggles, homelessness, loss of family members, losing friends, etc. Oddly enough I landed in Denver on accident after vacation went awry and my housing situation in New Jersey changed. This path isn’t easy nor is it for everyone but I feel like I’m finally heading in the right direction.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an independent professional wrestler. The description is a bit deceiving, aside from being an inring performer, I’ve also helped with all other auxiliary facets. I’m known for my character, work ethic and my high energy. I’m proud of the fact that I do my best to help others be successful. I’m outspoken, that sets me apart from most. I feel like I have to use my voice to help as much as possible.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Research and attend a credible wrestling school, utilize social media, go to shows, do the “grunt” work and show them what you’re worth. These things have been critical in putting me on a path to success in professional wrestling.
