Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Kugel.
Hi Hannah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in the Boulder area and am a second generation Boulderite. After high school I became a 911 dispatcher and spent 6 years serving the community as a dispatcher. After getting married and starting a family, I decided I wanted a change of pace that would allow me to spend more time with my young son and still be a part of the community. I decided to get into Real Estate so I could help people through the next chapter of their lives no matter what that looks like! My education is in leadership and development and I enjoy helping people understand each step of their transaction and ensuring they feel well guided along the way.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Balancing work and motherhood has been a challenge but one that I am extremely grateful for. Especially throughout the pandemic without being able to take my son out of the house as often we have been trying to find creative ways to keep him entertained so I can balance work. The Real Estate market has been so competitive for my buyers lately that has been challenging but I’ve tried to continue to be a cheerleader for my buyers no matter what!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I work often with first time home buyers, as I really enjoy helping people understand the ins and outs of Real Estate transactions! I never want to be an agent that rushes a client along and leaves them confused about what’s happening. I also offer some unique packages for sellers that allow them to make home improvements before listing and pay at closing. This allows sellers to maximize the value of their home without having to make any updates themselves!
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I train in the Mixed Martial Arts! I am a part of an amazing Martial Arts community in Longmont. Trans Martial Arts and Fitness where I train in Muay Thai and Krav Maga. I love the exercise, discipline and community!
