Daily Inspiration: Meet Jasmine Ho-Lin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Ho-Lin.

Hi Jasmine , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

I started drag from the outside looking in. I studied musical theatre and dance in school, which eventually led me to join the International Dance Crew—the official dance team for one of the biggest monthly drag shows in the country, *Drag Nation*.

During that time, I was in awe of the drag artists I danced and choreographed for. I admired their talent, but I never thought I could be one of them. That began to shift when I found myself performing in productions of *Kinky Boots* and *La Cage aux Folles*. It was through those shows that I realized I could combine all three of my passions: dancing, acting, and singing.

After wrapping up those productions, I was hooked. I started dabbling in drag, but I never fully committed or took the time to truly invest in my drag persona. That all changed in March 2025 when I decided to compete in *Ultimate Drag Competition* at Tracks Denver. Over the course of 11 intense and transformative weeks, I honed my craft and grew into the queen I am today: Jasmine Ho-Lin.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
You never learn unless you fall aside from my make up skills. The biggest thing I struggled with was my self confidence and stepping into the spotlight.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Drag Artist, I can do virtually in regards to performing. Whether you need a dancing queen, live vocals, an alternative number or just a good time
I can do it all. I believe that’s what sets me apart is my versatility in drag and my willingness to learn and grow every day.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
My curiosity and tenacity
