Daily Inspiration: Meet Joe Bello

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joe Bello.

Hi Joe, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey started with countless people saying “Did anyone ever tell you that you have the voice for radio?” After working with a voice coach and creating a demo reel, I began to shop out my talents to agents and that is when I found the Donna Baldwin agency.

I have worked with numerous customers from Symbio Health to Monkey Shoulder Whiskey to WalMart, providing entertaining voiceover content for their use since then.

I host a weekly social media campaign called #followthatgrape where I discuss wine and spirits education using my gift of gab and my sommelier certifications! You can see all of my work at www.savedbythebello.com.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The voiceover industry is a competitive field and the road is not easy but when you land that project and get to hear your work in the final stages it’s worth all of the effort.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a voiceover actor and professional drinker (sommelier!).

I was a chef for decades and love talking food and wine with people so those talents merged with my social media accounts and my #followthatgrape series. I am most proud of being able to share my voice with the world and to give people a moment of happiness.

What do you think about happiness?
My wife, Natalie, is the most amazing person to ever walk this earth and truly brings me more happiness than I deserve. Our zoo of fur babies and incredible friends and family keep a smile on my face daily.

I practice daily meditation to stay right with the universe to ensure I spread as much happiness as I can through each of my days!

Oh yeah, and I love to golf horribly!
