Daily Inspiration: Meet Julie Brar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julie Brar.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Everything that I do now, came about because I went through challenging times. I’m proof that it’s possible to overcome any problems that life throws your way. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s a year after my husband’s sudden passing. It was devastating to lose him. That loss has took me years to recover from.

My health suffered as a result. After I was diagnosed I was put on medication. When medication failed to help me, I started to look for options. I had gained almost 50 lbs and lived in a state of brain fog and depression. My quality of life was terrible. I ended up going back to school for nutrition and regenerative health.

Everything I learned I’ve used to reverse my diagnosis, get off thyroid medication and create vitality in my body. In fact, I feel the best I have ever felt thanks to all the holistic tools that I have used to regenerate my health. These are the same tools I use with clients with 100% success.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Losing my husband was a tremendous struggle. It’s been the hardest loss that I’ve had to navigate so far in life. Having my health fail on top of losing him, made it much worse. When I was trying to feel better my body felt like a prison. I had many low points and so many emotional challenges. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to not quit on myself. To keep going no matter what.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a Regenerative Health Practitioner. My specialty is giving my clients the tools that they need to help their body to regenerate on a cellular level. I recommend everything from powerful micronutrient organic nutrition to meditation, movement and frequency healing techniques.

The thing that sets me apart from others is that I create protocols based on each client rather than taking a cookie-cutter approach to health. My protocols are in support of my client’s best interest.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I think luck comes from taking action. When you get into action it’s amazing the opportunities and serenity that comes into play to help you. I also think that when life presents challenges it’s a doorway to growth and expansion.

In my own way, I have found a way to create something good from a terrible situation. Even my own health diagnosis of Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism has been a way for me to create something good from something terrible. I’m really proud of myself for not giving up. Create you own luck by getting into action. You’ll be amazed at what happens!
