Daily Inspiration: Meet Justin Rose-Sommers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Rose-Sommers

Hi Justin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Right before I graduated Highschool in New York I had planned to go to school for marketing and had been doing photography as a passion. In my senior year I took an internship that would take me all over the city and would follow around a more experienced photographer and videographer and document a large part of the process. Through this whole experience I would fall in love with working in the entertainment industry and change my major and my focus. I would then go to working in the Denver music and fashion scene.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It was always a challenge finding work or understanding what I needed to do to improve or change and make my style authentic or just be better.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I focus on entertainment and shoot anything from music videos to day in the life style videos and that just been my passion. My proudest moment is when I was invited to shoot for fashion week in New York for Runway 7 and thats what I’ve put alot of time into preparing for. I am also working on my own YouTube show as well as other short term projects to try and improve my stills. I know all the people I’ve worked with are just as passionate and creative I just think I take a different approach to the way I shoot and I like to make all my work a little more eye catching and dreamy then what it looks like in real life.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Never take any opportunity for granted and just to have as much fun with the people you’re working with, you might never work with them ever again or even see them so leave a lasting impression and have a good time.
