Daily Inspiration: Meet K. Emerson

Today we’d like to introduce you to K. Emerson. 

Hi K., we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started writing back in college. Three of my articles got published by the university press. I guess from then on, I got motivated to become a writer. 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. The world of book-selling is also controlled by big sharks that do not necessarily give space to new stories nor new authors. No matter how talented you are, I believe if you do not know “you know who” your books won’t make the cut of the publishing houses. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I write fantasy-sci-fi YA novels. My first novel ever written is THE ZORAH SERIES. The first installment came out in April 2021. I am really proud to write something about hope for humanity. The high degree of mysticism in the story makes ZORAH a unique hero’s tale. 

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Not learned but confirmed a lot of ideas I had about secret agendas. I believe the best advice I can give people is do not believe everything you hear or see, do your own extensive research.
