Daily Inspiration: Meet Kyle Myers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Myers.

Hi Kyle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi I’m Kyle, owner of Alpha Air Heating and Cooling. I started in the HVAC trade a little over 12 years ago and have now been in business for myself for the past 3. With working for many other companies over the past 9 years (especially the larger companies) I saw time and time again that customers were met with technicians that didn’t value the relationship or customer service as much as their numbers. That’s where I wanted to make a change. I believe customer service and the relationships we build in the community is ultimately the important part of this business as well as quality work at a fair price.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Going into starting this business there has been a huge learning curve as I was always in the field installing and servicing equipment vs. doing any of the backend work involved. Also there is the marketing aspect and getting in front of people to let them know you’re there. It has been a lot of trial and error in regards to that to figure out what works best for us and what does not.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Alpha Air Heating and Cooling specializes in residential heating and cooling service, replacement and installation of furnaces, Air conditioning, and indoor air quality products. I would say I am most proud of the service I am able to provide and the awesome relationships I have built with our customers over the past few years.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something that may surprise people is that growing up I never saw myself in the trades at all. Ultimately growing up, I wanted to be a teacher. I however began in the trades and found helping people and solving problems for them very rewarding.
