Hi Lorenzo, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is
Lorenzo Casas Tabullo, and my journey began in the vibrant town of Las Bocas, Jalisco, Mexico. In 2006, as a young man in my early 20s, I arrived in Johnstown, Colorado, with nothing but a used van, a small sprayer, and a collection of big dreams.
At age 21, I married my wife Karen , whose unwavering support became the heartbeat of our business. Together with my father-in-law and brother-in-law, we launched Magic Painters
. However, our local reputation grew so fast that clients began calling it “Lorenzo’s Painting”. Realizing the deep personal trust my neighbors were placing in me, I eventually took over the business as a solo venture and officially rebranded to Lorenzo’s Painting & Remodeling.
Our Evolution
What started as a small painting crew has evolved into a comprehensive “empire” of home transformation. Through years of hard work and professional dedication, we expanded our fleet and our expertise. Today, we handle a wide range of residential and commercial projects:

A New Chapter: March 2026
I am thrilled to announce that we are continuing to grow. In March 2026, we will open our brand-new showroom at Loveland Yards. This space is designed to help homeowners, builders, and “flippers” visualize and select products for their next big project, further cementing our commitment to being Northern Colorado’s premier remodeling partner.

As a new painter, I faced two major hurdles: nobody knew my work yet, and I faced a significant language barrier. However, I refused to let those obstacles define me. I dedicated myself to learning the language and let my craftsmanship speak for itself. Slowly, one referral turned into dozens. Clients began to recognize my personal dedication, eventually calling us simply “Lorenzo’s Painting.” I decided to embrace that trust, taking over the business to build a company that carried my name and my values.
Building the Empire
Through hard work and professional integrity, we transformed that small operation into a local empire. We expanded our expertise and our fleet, always remembering how God has blessed our lives. Today, we are more than just painters; we are transformation experts. From Residential and Commercial Painting to Full-Scale Remodeling and high-end Epoxy Floor Coatings, we deliver quality that lasts.

I transitioned from simply following a work order to becoming an artist who helps homeowners, builders, and flippers choose the perfect palette to evoke emotion and value.
The Eye of a Designer and Flipper
My expertise grew naturally as I began flipping homes. This experience gave me a unique “investor’s eye”—I don’t just see what looks good; I see what makes a home sell and how to increase a property’s market value. I now specialize in:
