Daily Inspiration: Meet Randy Chacon

Today we’d like to introduce you to Randy Chacon.

Hi Randy, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am the owner of Colorado Springs Wrestling, I started in the Wrestling business about nine years ago and in that time have become one of the top promoters for the state. I love my charity work from the kids with Colorado Springs down syndrome association to my kids with the make a wish foundation. I also do a major fundraiser every June known as Headlocks for Hospice where we raise money to go towards Hospice care. Last year we raised $9000. I love my fans and all that they do for me and my company. Every time I am told I am an inspiration, it truly melts my heart. I am a southern Colorado native and love to be able to give something back to the community. I am also a father of four sons and have been married for 12 years to my best friend and business partner Laura Chacon. This company would not be half the success it is if it wasn’t for her and those amazing boys. I am forever grateful for all my accomplishments and success and hope to continue to make the world a little better one show at a time. I am now also a producer for Champagne Cabaret, a burlesque organization located in Colorado Springs. It’s all about entertaining the fans!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not. The struggles of covid and trying to keep the shows hot every month are a real struggle. A lot of people in the business didn’t want me in it either but now those same people either have made mutual respect with me or no longer work here. Injuries and life also make it hard to keep shows going at the magnitude that our fans have become accustomed to but we manage to do it every month. Thanks to my booker and head writer Chango Bronson, our company has become a major powerhouse. We have also created the four corners territory, a territory for companies to help each other flourish.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I love to entertain! I have recorded ten albums before getting into the wrestling business. If I make people smile and have fun, that’s the ultimate goal. What sets me apart from others is that they love and care for this business is 100% pure and sincere and countless will preach about all I try to do for everyone around me. I’m known for being the kindest promoter in the state, even though my last name is Rude haha.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Whether you are a professional wrestling fan or not, you will absolutely have a great time at our events! We make heroes for kids and sagas for our fans to follow. I love all of you fans even more than you love us!
