Today we’d like to introduce you to Sharon Glassman.

Hi Sharon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m the designer and songwriter of Smile Songs musical cards and gifts. I’m also a gregarious introvert who loves having deep talks with folks. But needs some recovery time after that to recharge my batteries (hello, binging baking shows!).

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the great things about living in Colorado is that things aren’t always smooth. But in true mountain style, there’s a natural path that can take you up.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m the designer, songwriter and founder of an eco-friendly, musical stationery line called Smile Songs. Each design plays you a song I’ve handcrafted to amplify its good feels. And because I use QR codes to make my products sing, we’re eco-friendly, interactive and smartphone-lifestyle-friendly stationery, too.

I’m most proud of the joy Smile Songs bring to people of all ages. I’m also proud to share that Smile Songs just won the Best New Product Award at one of the country’s largest gift shows. It was a total surprise. And I definitely cried a few happy tears.

Personally, I’m really proud of how I’m using my introvert superpowers of deep listening and empathy to create products that help others feel seen. Heard. Entertained. And appreciated. I love every minute of what I do…

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
To trust my gut. Celebrate the now. And dance to the sound of crickets when necessary.
