Daily Inspiration: Meet Zach Hoffman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zach Hoffman

Hi Zach, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Elevation Effect was founded in summer of 2021 by Walt White and some of his best students. Coming fresh out of the COVID 19 pandemic, he had a vision for his students to tackle and make a mark in the newly reset music industry; His vision was to form an collective where we combine our individual fanbases, talents and expertise to rise up in the industry.
We’ve had great success hosting and performing in noteworthy venues like The Church Nightclub, Larimer Lounge, Temple Nightclub along with big festivals like Foam Wonderland, Decadence, Supernatural, and Global Dance Festival.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like anything in life, theres always those moments where things will get tough. It’s hard to think of specific instances because of how much of a rollercoaster this competitive saturated industry can be. At the end of the day, the love and support of our fans, friends, production teams, affiliated partners, fellow collective community and of course the love of music is what keeps us alive.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My role with Elevation Effect goes far beyond my Producer/DJ alias Exzached. Behind the scenes I wear a few different hats. Over the years its turned into managing social media, booking talent, promoting, organizing/coordinating shows, and designing flyers. My hands are quite full, but I enjoy every second of it even if it is chaotic at times.

I’m very proud of what Elevation Effect has achieved in such a few short years. As stated earlier we’ve been fortunate enough to land grand opportunities at some of the biggest electronic events/venues in Denver and work with some of the best talent in the area.

I feel what sets us apart is how diverse our shows can be. Since the start we’ve had a pool of talent spanning over many genres of the EDM spectrum. Throughout the years we’ve evolved that concept and expressed it through our shows that have showcased more than just one specific genre of EDM. We always strive to bring the best experience to our fans and artists, constantly learning and evolving each time.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
From an artist standpoint, a risk is always worth taking as long as its a positive one that could potentially benefit you. You don’t know unless you try.

From more of a business standpoint an example I can think of is talent buying/booking artists for an event. I tend to look at it as more of a calculated risk. As much as we love to feature new talent in our events, we also got to consider if that artist would work good for the scale of the event were looking to fill. There are so many factors I could go on forever about.
