Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Girch Amanda Iglesias
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We became joint owners of Pinspired Events in January 2024: however, we have known each other for over 20 years. We are sisters-in-law and coincidentally enough, we are both named Amanda! Amanda Girch started Pinspired Events about 10 years ago in California as an event planning business. Today as co-owners the company has evolved in order to meet the styles, trends and happenings of today. We wanted our business to be centered around things we enjoyed. Things like hosting events, creating, fashion, shopping and being surrounded by pretty things.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The main struggle we have is finding enough time to devote to growing the business as much as we would like due to a busy and active family lifestyle with five kids between our two families.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Pinspired Events is a curated collective of fashion forward custom accessories made to order through mobile private parties, pop-up events for businesses, shows, markets, team parties and celebrations. We specialize in custom hat bar events that include trucker, wide brim and cowboy hats that are fully customizable on site. We also have a charm necklace bar and permanent jewelry that we can bring along to elevate any event or celebration. Occasionally, Pinspired Events will host our own local parties in collaboration with local businesses. We also hope to continue our fundraising efforts for Type 1 Diabetes through some of these personally hosted events. We are always trying to provide people with the most personalized and customized experience for their event to make it memorable for each client. We want our clients and customers to walk away with not only a product they love and something that is special to them, but also leave having had fun interactions and a great time! We are most proud of the growth we have made together expanding the company in the last year, as well as the connections, relationships and friendships we’ve made along the way.
What does success mean to you?
We define success as seeing our customers joy when sharing the customizing experience, having repeat clients, and a growing demand for our services.
