Hi Ashley, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
BeautysKiss is really my teenage dream come to life. I’ve always wanted to create a space for women and girls to feel safe relax and have fun! I didn’t know how I was going to do that but fast forward 6 years and I’m in my own suite waxing and lashing all different types of people.
I’ve been an esthetician for 3 years now I spent the first year waxing with European Wax Center and then I went on to learn lashes at a lash studio in Cherry Creek. Something never felt right at these other companies I wanted to create my own beauty space where I could truly cater to the women that come and see me.
It was always my mission to use my expertise in esthetics and experience as a black women to help educate and care for other black women. It’s often a struggle finding a service provider that is educated in the different struggles black women face with our skin and hair! That’s where I come in. It’s been 3 months since I’ve opened and I’m incredibly grateful.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been an interesting journey so far. I’ve learned so much about myself, what I truly want my brand to look like, what to do what not to do and I’m still learning. I think the biggest struggle was just starting. Getting over my fears and doubts and just making the decision to go all in.

I specialize in Full body waxing specifically the Brazilian/Bikini Area. I help transform your skin through waxing and after care routines.
I also do Lash Extensions
I want readers to know that it can be scary trusting a new esthetician but they are safe with me. Every service is different because everyone is different when you step into my space it becomes yours. Your skin/lash problems become mine
I am most proud of the relationship and trust I’ve been able to build with my clients
