Exploring Life & Business with Austin Hunt of Mumarkt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Austin Hunt.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Mumarkt Co. began as an idea during the middle of a 6-month road trip in 2018. After surviving an abusive and traumatic relationship, I left home state of Washington in the hopes to find a better life.

I felt lost. I had no idea where I was going or what I was doing.

All that I knew is that I needed to figure out how I ended up in that relationship and how my life had gotten so f’ed up.

So, I sold everything I owned and quit my job to travel the west coast in an old Honda Civic in search of something that I had forgotten.

The plan was simple: I would wake up each day with curiosity and wonder, and say “yes” to anything that excited me. I was a man in search of purpose, and for the first time in my life, I would put myself first.

It was difficult at times. The time alone gave me a lot of time to think about my past and all of the mistakes I had made. But it was also during this time that I began to realize who I really was and what I wanted out of life.

I started to feel more and more alive, and I started to feel purpose again.

Eventually, I found myself in Boulder, Colorado. It was here that I realized that I wanted to help people who were stuck in the same situation that I was in.

I wanted to create a company that would inspire others to follow their dreams and live a life of purpose. I wanted people to feel the same sense of freedom and adventure that I had found on the road.

And so, Mumarkt Co. was born.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The road is very rarely smooth. You are bound to hit a few bumps along the way. The same can be said about business. You are going to face difficulties.

“The obstacle in the path becomes the path. Never forget, within every obstacle is an opportunity to improve our condition.”

― Ryan Holiday, The Obstacle Is the Way: The Timeless Art of Turning Adversity to Advantage

Struggle is inevitable. It’s a part of life. It is also a part of business.

I actively seek to invite struggle into my life. That is what makes business so exciting! Inviting struggle means that you are constantly learning and growing, and I love to learn.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Mumarkt Co. is a Colorado-based SEO Consultancy that helps industry leaders own the first page of Google and grow their businesses. SEO is the practice of optimizing a website to rank higher in search engine results (primarily Google) to drive organic traffic that will convert into leads, customers, and revenue.

The higher you rank on Google, the more visible you are to potential customers, and the more likely they are to click through to your website.

The fact is, SEO has become synonymous with boring… But since when was making money, growing a business, and getting new customers supposed to be boring? Much like fitness, SEO is a process that should be embraced and enjoyed. The climb is the fun part.

SEO should be an adventure!

Mumarkt Co.’s core mission is to make SEO fun again by bringing creativity, strategy, and a sense of adventure to the table. We help our clients see their websites as assets that can be leveraged to reach new heights.

I want more people to feel the same sense of freedom and success that I do!

How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
The easiest way is to reach and out and start a conversation.

You can do this through my contact form on my website or via LinkedIn.

If you have a highly-valuable product or service, and you are in the space to help more people, then I want to talk to you.

I am also open to collaboration and am always keen to connect with new people, so feel free to reach out if you have an idea for a project or just want to chat.
